Oh River... I love this story so hard. It does end up being a larger romance than just the initial FMC and MMC.

This is the first chapter of Mixed Signals, the second book I completed. It's sort of in the same universe as Being Bookish, but not directly involving that friend group. I adore Noah, though be warned, he is the hot mess of hot messes. Mel is one of my favorite FMCs; she's the one I wish I were sometimes if I had more confidence. And yes, we share a pen name.
